Built-in chat and child chat components need the same application policy. Expose
allowSelectModel,hideSessionSelector, andallowAdditionalTagsat the application root, and update both facade shells to Host 1.0.62 / schema 2.1. Existing requirement names remain valid. Missing or malformed stored authentication redirects before loading the frontend.Preserve older and private Host configurations with
host_policy_mode(auto,legacy,shared). The default detects official CDN versions: Host 1.0.62 and newer receive root-only shared policy; older or unrecognized Hosts also receive the matching legacyhostConfigfields. Custom modern Hosts can explicitly chooseshared. Root-only output prevents legacy fields from shadowing later shared-policy updates. Invalid mode values return an actionable config error.Validation: the focused facade suite passes 84 tests, including actual HTTP config responses for public older/newer Hosts, private Hosts, explicit modes, empty allowlists, and invalid configuration. Both actual shell scripts pass eight authentication/import/config forwarding cases. Deployed Host 1.0.62 source and live-policy harnesses verify root inheritance, child overrides, root-only updates, and the unchanged 1.0.61 Session capability fallback. Astra reviewed the final compatibility design. Full CI is rerunning on the updated branch.
Release prerequisites LLM 0.5.6, Agent 0.5.3, Relay 0.3.16, baseline facade 0.6.42, and Session 0.6.7 are published and have been freshly resolved/downloaded. The downstream app remains gated on browser smoke using the final published packages; this PR does not deploy an application.
